John Norman Eikey

A devoted son, brother, and uncle, John dedicated his life to the people he loved most. He is survived by his parents; his brother, William (Stacie); his sister, Sherri (Kevin); and his cherished nephews, Zachery, Jeffery, Dylan, and his niece, Kaylee.

John was born and raised in Johnstown, PA, where he spent many years playing youth hockey and forming lifelong friendships. After spending time on the West Coast, he eventually relocated to Raleigh, NC, to be closer to family.

John, affectionately known as “Johnnie” or “Bear” by many friends and family members, will be remembered for his adventurous spirit and generous heart. He never met a stranger and, with his outgoing personality, had a way of making everyone feel like a friend. He lived life to the fullest.

He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all who love him.
