John Foliano died on August 6, 2012 at age 54; was the beloved son of Dorothy Foliano, and the late, Jasper Foliano; and was the dear brother to Jay Foliano. His flamboyant life will be honored outside New York City where his family and friends live. He was born in New York City, on April 4, 1958. He grew up in Hartsdale, New York, went on to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and worked in the fashion industry in New York City before moving to Los Angeles to continue his pursuit to make his mark in fashion.
