John William Quinn

Jack was born on March 11, 1933 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Francis Christopher Quinn and Margaret Josephine Brosnahan Quinn. He was an Army veteran who served in Korea. He was married to Mary June Quinn, his wife of 61 years, on August 3, 1957.

Jack was preceded in death by his daughter Deborah Quinn and son Daniel Quinn and is survived by his wife Mary June Quinn, daughter Colleen Michelle Waters and her husband Phil Waters, grandsons Sean William Waters and Matthew Quinn Waters, brother Francis George Quinn, nephew James O’Brien and his wife Brooke O’Brien.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Wake Medical Center and Transitions Hospice of Cary for their compassion and care during Jack’s last days.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 21, 2018 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, located at 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC. All are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
