He is survived by his wife, Teresa Rencurrell; daughter, Terri Chalnick and husband, Robert; son, Pepe Rencurrell; and grandchildren, Brian Chalnick and Jesse Rencurrell.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Ephesus Baptist Church, 6767 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
