June was born on July 5, 1964, in Hobbs, New Mexico to her beloved parents, Jerry and Linda.
As a child, June was very active in the youth group at her church and had the pleasure of going on several mission trips. She was also a member of the church’s choir, where her beautiful singing voice gleamed. Her musical talent and passion was also evident through her aptitude for playing the flute and the baritone.
After graduating top of her class from Cooper High School in Abilene, Texas where she was a cheerleader, June attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas; there, she was a proud sister (member) of sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. She also attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene. June was tremendously intelligent; she was an avid reader and had a strong passion for American History.
On December 16, 1986, June married the love of her life, Craig, in Jamaica. In their early years as a couple, June and Craig’s favorite pastime was waterskiing at their local lake in Texas. Throughout their years together, they lived in many other states including: California, Utah, Georgia, Illinois, and North Carolina.
Upon becoming a mother, June became a homemaker in which she spent much of her time caring for her three children. June really cherished the time she spent with her husband and kids, and adored planning and going on family vacations.
