Born in Meadville, PA he was a son of the late Niles and Louise Rowe. He lived most of his life in Panama, NY and then moved to Cary.
A veteran of the US Navy, he served active duty from 1963 - 1966 and then in the reserve from 1966 - 1967. He began his career at Alltel in Jamestown, NY and worked there for 19 years. He then retired from Nortel in RTP in 2006.
Len was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Rowe and his son, Kenneth Rowe.
Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Rowe Kendrick (Jason); grandson, Michael Kendrick; brother, Jon Rowe (Grace); twin sister, Linda Rowe Anderson (John); and multiple nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary.
