Linda Joy Kempf

Born on November 19, 1947, in St. Petersburg, FL, Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who treasured her family above all else. Linda cherished her dear friends and her church family, finding joy in the connections she built. She was known for her love of keeping things neat and organized, taking pride in creating a warm and welcoming home. She also had a passion for travel, embracing every opportunity to explore and create lasting memories.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of many years, Jim Kempf, who passed away in 2011 and by her parents, Richard and Zitilli Lettelleir.

She is survived by her devoted children, Melissa and her husband Jim; Dave and his wife Catherine; John and his wife Gillette; and Kyle and his wife Tanya; her loving sister, Dianne, and her husband Michael, and their children, Michael and Michelle and her husband Eric; and her brother, William, and his wife Angel, and their children, Theresa and Andrew.

Above all, Linda treasured her family. She was a loving and proud grandmother to Alexis, Megan, Jenna, Christos, Sebastian, and Donovan, and a cherished aunt to her nephew Dillon, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Westwood Baptist Church or a charity of one's choice.

Visitation will be held at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511, on May 28, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The funeral service will take place at Westwood Baptist Church located at 200 Westhigh Street, Cary, NC 27513, on May 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM.

A committal service will be held at Wake Memorial Park located at 7002 Green Hope School Rd, Cary,NC 27519, on May 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
