I met Lori in California when she came out to visit her dad.  We fellowshipped together and I so enjoyed her company.  I loved that laugh! She was pregnant with Jason the last time we saw each other face to face.  How time goes by!  We reconnected on Facebook and I wish it could have been for a longer time.   Jason- she loved you so.  You and your daughter were the lights of her life.  Love you Lori- see you in heaven! 

I was so saddened to hear of Lori's passing, but I know there is one more angel in heaven.

 Lori was a lovely person and always the bright light in the room.  You simply could not be with her and not smile.  I met Lori through our work at MetLife and looked forward to chatting with her when I visited at her location.   We always talked about family.   She loved you all so much,  especially her granddaughter.    

Lori will be remembered for the good work that she did but more importantly for being warm, loving and helpful to everyone. 

I just found out about Lori's passing today and I was stunned. She was such a bright light to everyone around her and had such an open heart to all of us. She will be greatly missed at work more for her friendship and positive attitude and anything else. To Lori's family I send my condolences having only known her only four years here at work, she was a bright and Shining Star to us all. God bless you Lori we will miss you very much!

I send my deepest condolences, love and prayers to Lori's family! I had the honor of meeting Lori shortly after starting and MetLife, she was always helpful, kind, and welcoming to anyone who walked the halls. No matter who you were or position you held, she treated us all the same and that shows the Love of God pouring through her. I will truly miss seeing her on the 4th floor, but will never forget all the kind deeds. Rest in Paradise and continue to spread you joy on us! Many blessings to all and knew and loved Lori!

I met Lori at Geekathon at MetLife, I am so blessed to have met her.  Last year I had the blessing of helping Lori with her surgery,  I also had surgery a week later.  When I was able to drive again I visited her often, I would ask her what I could bring her and all she ever wanted was a HUG.  I miss her and Love her.

Lori with the first friend I made when moving to Springfield with my young daughter Krista.  She and I became fast friends and raised our children together.  I have wonderful memories of celebrating birthdays together and celebrating New Year's at Ground Round, a full out celebration with a countdown, horns, etc...and we were home at 8:00.  She was there for me in my times of need and I pray I was able to be a great friend to her.  

Lori is one of the most honest, hardworking and committed women I know.  She loved her family so.  The last time we were together was when she was driving back from her sister's memorial.  Although we did not spend much time together over these past years, I would have dropped anything for her in her time o need and I know that absolutely show would do that for me and any friend.  

I know she will continue to guide the paths of those who need her guidance.   I love you Lori. 

Lori was my first true  friend at my new company.  I met her on the first day and she was all smiles and hugs.  I knew from her radiance that she was a Christian lady full of love, hope, joy and peace.   She was a bright star in my life and her faith and love never waivered regardless of how her day was going or her current circumstances.   She was the kind of friend, lady and Christian most would strive to be like.   So outgoing, giving, caring and supporting of others, no matter what her needs were.  We love you, Lori and we are all smiling with you and though our hearts are broken for our loss, we know you are home where you belong.   You were only on loan to us here. I'm overwhelmed with the news and still processing it.  Lori was a great woman, kind, loving and passionate about people.   We've gotten to know each other more recently and I looked forward to her return to work so we could share stories of my boys and her granddaughter.  She had a great love for her family and I loved hearing stories from her.  She was even saving money to take her granddaughter on a cruise in the coming years.  She'd always give me a hug and chat just to break up the day.  It was great.  My deepest condolences to her family.

In addition to her parents, Donavin Russel Tuynman and Joan Carol LaBelle,  Lori is preceded in death by her sister, Susie Schussler Turner. She is survived by her son, Jason Tuynman; her granddaughter, Zoe Tuynman; her sister, Debra Rooke; her brother, Jurgen Schussler; and her beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
