Lynn Elizabeth McCleneghen

Lynn was born on December 24, 1960 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of George E. and Linda Pearson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and had a passion for the outdoors. She was on the Board of the North Carolina Landscape Contractors and a Bible Study leader at St. Andrews.

She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Francis Patrick McCleneghen II; her daughters, Hailey Lynn and Kelsey Elizabeth; her son Francis Patrick III. She is also survived by her sisters, Karen Preis of Cary, Joy Teston of Orlando, FL, and brother George Pearson of Seaford, DE. She is also beloved by an extended family of in-laws, nephews, and nieces.

A visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 2, at Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 200 S.E. Maynard Rd., Cary, NC. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 3, at St. Andrews the Apostle Catholic Church, 3008 Old Raleigh Rd, Apex, NC.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Lynn’s memory to The North Carolina J.C. Raulston Arboretum, 4415 Beryl Road, Raleigh NC 27606.
