

Marcy was a graduate of Kinston High School and East Carolina University, where she received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Psychology. Although, she was educated to be a school psychologist she had a 25+ year career in medical regulatory affairs.
After College, Marcy had the opportunity to live outside her home state of NC in Washington DC and her beloved Boston. It was in Boston that she began her career in regulatory affairs working at Massachusetts General Hospital (affiliated with Harvard) on FDA approval for the use of laser technology in areas like hair removal, skin resurfacing, tattoo removal, and others.
Family and friends were Marcy’s passion and delight. After returning to NC, Marcy started a family and had her 2 cherished sons. She loved attending their soccer games, band concerts and piano recitals. For the past 20 years she has lived in Cary, enjoying the community, attending local outdoor concerts at the Koka Booth Amphitheater, hiking in the NC mountains including multiple trips up Mt Leconte & visiting with family & friends at the NC beaches.
Marcy is survived by her sons, Zachary Byron Moore and Jacob Roger Moore and their father Roger B. Moore Jr. of Cary (to whom she was married for 27 years), her mother Nancy Crumbacker of Kinston, NC, brother Richard (Barbara) Crumbacker of Kinston, NC. She is also survived by her beloved Granny, Helen Clemmons Faulkner and her Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Joan Faulkner. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.
The family welcomes visitors at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary on February 12th from 7:00-9:00PM. A Celebration of Life will be held on February 13th at 1:00pm at Brown-Wynne.
