Marianne, thank you for always being so kind to me.  I will always remember you fondly and please give my big brother a hug from me.

I met Marie Ann on the Clay boards.  I will miss her and my thoughts and prayers are with Marie Ann's family and friends.

I have 'met' Marie Ann on the Clayboard in 2003. We exchanged a few personal messages, she was such a nice lady. I remember how when I first arrived on the board she sent me a Clay Aiken Tour Book. I couldn't believe that someone would actually do this for a complete stranger!...we then used to make what we called 'pahs' and post them on the Clay Pics & Graphics forum... 

I would like if I may share a few passages of the Holy Bible...

[ God's Angel to Prepare the Way ] "See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.

Marie Ann, I will always remember you as one of God's angels. I strongly believe God made sure that our paths would cross for a very special reason...

John 14  1"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4You know the way to the place where I am going." 5Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?" 6Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. I never knew her in person but my heart is breaking to have lost Marianne.   She was a member of a board I was on and was a truly loving and wonderful person.  May God be with her family during this very difficult time.

It was an honor to have known Marianne through the Clay Aiken message boards.  She was such a private person but never failed to be there if you needed her for anything.  Her passing is a sad loss to all of her friends.  May she rest in peace.  My sincere sympathy to her family and friends. She will always have a special place in our hearts.

Marianne, you and the rest of our gang helped me live through a very sad time in my life. I will always cherish your friendship and your kind heart. You are loved by so many.  I know you weren't born in NC, but you got here as fast as you could. Everlasting love, my friend.

I too met Marianne through the Clay Aiken message boards.  Although we lived many miles apart, we became very close.  After some time apart, we had recently got in contact again.  I am so glad of that. She was a wonderful lady, with a good heart.  I will miss her greatly.  Hope you are now at peace.

Marianne was a cyberspace friend through the Clay Aiken message boards. I loved reading her posts and admired the graphics she created. Thank you for sharing the family photos with us.

I also knew Marieann "CZ" Doxey through the Clay Aiken message boards. I got to know her when I joined a board in 2004. 
Marie was always there to encourage me with school and other things going in life. She will be missed.

I knew Marieanne through the Clay Aiken message boards when I was introduced to her by a mutual friend.  Her humor and ability to bring a smile to my face will be cherished forever.  Her passing is a great sorrow to those of us who knew her.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Truth, we at Clay Aiken Fans sorely miss you and your wonderful, knowledgeable posts. RIP.

I have been a friend of Marieann's since 2003.  We met on a Clay Aiken Fan Club Board.  She was a very talented and knowlegable person and kept several fan boards going!  When I was having trouble with my computer, she called me long distance (I live in Lexington), and walked me through some troubleshooting procedures until we solved the problem.  She had the sweetest, softest voice on the phone,  I got to meet her in person at several Clay concerts in Cary and my sister and I went down to Cary to see her on several occasions.  I will miss her very much.  We shared a lot of programs and games on Facebook.  We love you CZ!

We'll miss Marie Ann at Clay Aiken boards. It was a joy reading her posts.

We are neighbors of Marianne's, we will cherish our memories of her.  We used to get together on weekends and play card games, eat snacks and remember our younger years gone by.  We'll miss her greatly.  To the family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Bob and Laura Verdon (Cary, NC)
