Mrs. Martin was always a caring lady. I remember staying at the Martin home many times during my childhood. She was a wonderful mother to all her child. God bless your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Jodi (Kulha) Walters

To all the Martin family, please know you are in my prayers at this truly difficult and sad time. Mrs. Martin was such a kind, sweet, and funny Christian woman. She had such a way of making me feel welcomed and valued whenever I had the privilege of being around her in her home or at FBC of Cary when I grew up. I know y’all will miss her terribly. Peace be with you, Mr. Martin, David, Donna, Dotty, Dale, Diane, and Debby. Love in Christ.

Although I did not know Mrs. Martin very well, I was always touched by her deep devotion to her husband and family. We have lived on Marilyn Circle for 20 years and it has been a pleasure interacting and getting to know the Martin family. Mrs. Martin was always kind, gentle, and sweet. She will be missed. It was a blessing to know her. God bless you all. Our deepest sympathies to your whole family. Becca, Rick, Emmie, & David Cumby, 215 Marilyn Circle

Marilyn & David welcomed us to the neighborhood with open arms the first day we arrived. We visited with Marilyn weekly on her front porch listening to stories of when she was a young girl (some of Frank's favorites!) and how Cary has changed over the years. It was her kindness - and the kindness of the entire family - that made Marilyn Circle (her namesake) feel like home. Her generosity of spirit will be greatly missed.
Sending warm and healing thoughts to you all,

Marilyn Martin was our angel when Stuart was minister of music and youth and I was the church organist at FBC, Cary. She sat with our children every Sunday worship service and cared and loved on them like she was their grandmother! Always full of grace, laughter, and a positive word for everyone! Martins, you enriched our lives by your caring for our family! Thank you! Our love goes out to you during this time of earthly goodbye but a heavenly see you later for your previous mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother!
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Marilyn is rejoicing in his presence today! Love to you all!

I respected Mrs Martin so much! She was a gentle, kind and loving Godly woman! I send my love and prayers to her family and know she will live on through them!

As a child, Mrs. Marilyn was a second mother to me. Stern but caring, compassionate, and the most loving lady I have had the pleasure of knowing.

Prayers to the entire Martin family.

My heart is breaking for all of you! May it comfort you knowing she is with the Lord now, and you are in everyone’s thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. She was quite a lady and will be dearly missed.

With Deepest Sympathy and Love

I grew up knowing Mrs Martin and her family through First Baptist Church in Cary. I remember all the fun times we had with church activities.. especially the summer beach trips. We gathered many Sunday nights after church and eating at the Pizza Inn in Cary at the Martins home near South Hills Mall. Mrs Martin was always participating in the games and activities at her house. She and Mr Martin welcomed anyone at their house.. the door was always open. You don’t find people like the Martin family today. She always asked how you were doing, never just talking about herself. We have lost one of the finest Christian ladies in Cary, one that cannot be replaced. My thoughts are with the Martin family with this loss and now having to take care of Mr Martin with his illness. Sadly, goodbye to a great lady we will miss dearly. Rest In Peace Mrs Martin. Neil Cooper

I loved Marilyn, she was one of the sweetest, kindest people I ever met.
She loved her family , so very much.
Marilyn will be missed forever.
