After a long and courageously fought battle against cancer, Mark Regis Slotta, sixty-nine, passed away on April 26, 2018 and went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Because Mark, by God’s grace, had placed his faith in Jesus, he is now present with the Lord. The apostle Paul writes, “Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 5:8)
Mark was born on November 26, 1948 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania to Regis and Josephine Slotta. He received his MBA from Marquette University. Mark was a loving and faithful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. During his stellar career in business, Mark was an inventor, business executive, and the Founder and CEO of SofProducts, Inc. He enjoyed playing golf and woodworking, but most of all spending time with his wife and family.
Mark is survived by his wife, Sandy; son, Chad; daughter-in-law, Leah; and grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, and Brennan.
The family will receive family and friends from 6 to 8PM on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. A homegoing service will be held at Sovereign Grace Church, 401 Upchurch Street, Apex, NC 27502 on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 10AM.
