She is survived by a sister, Doris Pope; daughters, Gydell Wells and Karen Bowen; son, Claude Bowen Jr; granddaughter, Betsy Adamson; and a great grandson, Brent Adamson.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 11551 NC-50, Newton Grove, NC 28366.
