Mary was born April 3, 1932 in Harlan County, Kentucky, to the late John Landon Griffith and Emma Lou Adams Mullins Griffith. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her passion was for her Lord Jesus and for leading other women in Bible studies.
Mary is survived by her sons, David A. Hance of Raleigh; and Douglas Charles Hance and his wife, Rebecca, of Birmingham, AL, and 3 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Caroline and Daniel (Doyeon).
Memorials may be made to Shepherd’s Theological Seminary, of Cary, North Carolina.
A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at The Shepherds Church, 6051 Tryon Rd, Cary, NC 27518, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will be held at Bridgeton Cemetery in Bridgeton, NC.
