Mary "Katie" Kathryn Moog

She was born in Greensburg, PA on March 17, 1947 to Albert Austin Heasley and Mary Priscilla Smith Heasley.

She was married to the late William “Bill” Moog. Katie worked at Farmington Woods Elementary, Cary High School, and PNC Arena. Katie had a passion for her grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, NC State Wolfpack, and Carolina Hurricanes.

She was preceded In death by her husband, William “Bill” Moog, parents Albert Austin Heasley and Mary Priscilla Smith Heasley, sister, Natalie Jane Downes, and Brother-in-law, Rev. Thomas Edward Moog.

She is survived by daughter Mary Beth Davis (Cliff), son Thomas William Moog (Melanie), daughter Gretchen Christine Tippett (Dereck), and son David Frederick Moog (Dez). She is also survived by grandchildren Ashley (Matt), Whitney, Timmy, Brady (Danyelle), Hayley (Zac), Kristen (Allen), Emily, Jennifer, Travis, Steven, Tristan, Holden, Sada, Declan, Hailey, Hannah, and Bubba. Great grandchildren Piper, Paisley, Briar, Zoey, Peyton, Greyson, Caleb, Scarlet and Carson, sister-in-law Carmen Watson Moog, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
