Maryellen English Grimes

Maryellen English Grimes, 69, of Morrisville, NC went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 19, 2011. Maryellen was born on August 29, 1941 in Bryn Mawr, PA to Edward and Mildred Burley English of Media, PA. She received a Bachelor’s degree from West Chester University, and her Master’s from Elmira College. She went on to teach elementary kids for 40 years, half of which was spent in NY and half in Texas. She spent her last 2 years in NC. Maryellen attended Calvary Chapel Cary. She also enjoyed being a member of the Red Hats and she absolutely loved to travel.

Maryellen is survived by her daughter, Karen Gould and husband, Mark of Cary, NC; son, Mark Garbarino and wife, Linda Plant of Hurst, TX; grandchildren, Zach and Lindsay Gould of Cary, NC; and brother, Tom English and wife, Marla of Upland, CA.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Calvary Chapel Cary, 1600 Center Street, Apex, NC 27502.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Calvary Chapel Cary.
