My Dear Friend, Kathy, Michael was, indeed, a great person. I, as well as others, wish you and he never had to know such difficulties. Your strength was beyond remarkable and exemplary, as you fought with him to overcome the trials and tribulations. I am so glad I had the opportunity to know Michael. We know he is with God and out of pain.....Your friend,

I attended East Cary, a year below Michael. Although I never had the privilege of meeting him, I started crying when I heard. At East Cary, he kind of defined us. The fact that I had the privilege of attending school with him is my blessing. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. And Mr. Jerret, because your son meant a whole lot to him. And all of us. God Bless.

Dear Kathy,
I really don't have the words to adequately express my condolences to you and your family. Life can be so cruel but I pray that you will find comfort in all your memories of the times you had together. I remember you kindly sharing the story of your wonderful son with me and even without ever having met you or Michael I know how special he was to you. Thinking of you at this very sad time. Veronica
