Michelle Ann Means was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on October 27th, 1964 to Shirley Ann Witkopp and Richard Albert Leahy. Middle child to her two brothers, younger brother Eric Leahy, and older brother Mark Leahy. She graduated from Granby Memorial High School then proceeded to get her bachelors degree in Information Systems with a minor in Business Management and Marketing from Central Connecticut State University.
She married Robert E. Means on august 20th, 1988. She and Bob had two beautiful kids, Monica Means and Hunter Means. She also was a loving dog mom of Snickers and Maxwell, and continuously loved being a foster mom to many other dogs throughout her life. She was also a second mom to many of her kids friends and welcomed everyone into her home with a big beautiful smile and open arms.
Michelle was a huge fan of getting in the car with her kids and jamming to Crosby Stills Nash and Young while on the way to one of her favorite spots in the world, the beach. She would walk on the beach for miles and miles at a time and always loved feeling the sand and water between her toes.
Michelle was an all around amazing women who touched the lives of many people along the way and was a stranger to no one. She will be greatly missed by everyone who was involved in her life. Although she left us at a young age, she will live on with all of us in our minds and stories. We can all believe that she is up in heaven catching up with her mom, dad, and furry friends that were up there waiting for her.
