As her son-in-law for the past 25 years, I have witnessed Mildred's love as mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always looked forward to family visits and expressed her joy of spending time with her "little ones". I will greatly miss her presence at our gatherings and have fond memories of her sense of humor and love of family.

I met Millie late in life as her physical therapist at Stoneridge. She always was willing to work hard with a smile on her face and a little joke to tell. She loved bringing smiles to all those around her and she was greatly loved by all the staff and other residents. She was an absolute joy to know and she will be greatly missed. Thoughts from abroad to Nan and all of her family.

I will miss Mildred' s lively conversations and eat a coconut macaroon in her honor.

Mildred was like a third grandma to me for the many years I knew her. Whenever I sang at Jordan Oaks with a community children's choir, I could always count on her being in the audience, waiting for me and my mom to visit with her afterwards. So many of us have been blessed to be loved by her, and I am grateful for the time I was able to spend with her, especially our last visit this summer before I went back to college. I will be holding her memory close in Ohio since I cannot be home to do so. Sending all my love to the family in this time of celebration and grief.
