Mildred Williams Keener

Mildred was a 4th grade teacher, retiring from the Caldwell County School System. She and her husband of 55 years, P.C. Keener were both active member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church in Lenoir until relocating to Sunrise of Cary to be closer to their children.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband; daughter: Enola Keener Grice, of Cary; son, Wesley Keener and wife Trish, of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, Jonathan and Christopher Grice and Garrett and Erin Keener; and other family and friends.

Graveside Funeral Rites will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lenoir with Pendry's Funeral Home assisting.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the church at 2695 Alfred Hartley Road - Lenoir, North Carolina 28645 or to the National Parkinson Foundation - Gift Processing Center - PO Box 5018 Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
