Nancy Lee Bowen

She was born on May 15, 1942 to the late Alber E. Beyar and Nina K. (Sanderson) Beyar. Nancy attended Summerfield Schools in Petersburg, Michigan and also Stautzenburger Business College in Toledo, Ohio. She married James E. Bowen on October 28, 1961 at Zion Church in Ida, Michigan.

Nancy held several positions in her career including Secretary to the Principle of the Summerfield Elementary Schools in Petersburg, Michigan. She was General Manager of the Portrait Shops based in Cleveland, Tennessee, manager Pre-Approval operations for Cigna Health Care in Peach Tree City, Georgia and Dallas, Texas. She retired from the American Concrete Pavement Association in Cary, NC.

Survivors include her husband, James E. Bowen of Cary, NC; daughter, Sue M. Bowling and her husband, Jeffery of Marietta, Georgia; son, James A. Bowen of Cary, NC; brother, Albert E. Beyar, Jr. of Farmington Hills, Michigan; and grandchildren, Grace Madison and Ross Christopher Bowen of Cary, NC.
