Nancy was born on October 5, 1951 in Asheboro, NC, to the late Robert and Janie Batten. She was a woman of Baptist faith, and loved her dogs Buffy and Dizzy.
She is survived by her husband, John “Pete” Ellis, and son, Peter Ellis of Augusta, GA.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29th, 2014, at 11:00 am, at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary. Family will receive friends following the service.
