Naomi M. Barker

Naomi was born in Pennington Gap, VA and grew up in nearby Keokee. She married her HS sweetheart in 1966. She was the best mom to her children Amy and Sam and had a special bond with her only grandchild Haley. Naomi had loving parents, Doug and Elsie Morris, a loving sister Connie Poole (Carroll), sister-in-law Linda Lee and many nieces and nephews. She loved God, her family and friends.

Naomi worked for many years at Prison Fellowship Ministries. She will always be remembered for her kind heart and sweet nature. She will be missed by many.

The family would like to thank Transitions Life Care and the wonderful caregivers who provided her with the very best of care. We are forever grateful.

A visitation for Naomi will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 12:00 - 1:00 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM. The burial will follow immediately after at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612.
