Neal retired as a Senior Design Engineer from Eaton Cutler-Hammer/Westinghouse with dozens of patented inventions. He founded the swim team at TC Roberson High School in Skyland, NC where he coached for over 15 years. He attended Shiloh Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Raleigh. He enjoyed genealogy research, serving as Registrar for the Blue Ridge Chapter of Sons of the American Revolution, watching the Chicago Bears, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 7:00 pm, December 27, 2024 at Salem Baptist Church, 1821 N Salem St, Apex, NC 27523.
