Nedra Anderson Chesnutt

Nedra Anderson Chesnutt passed away on Sunday evening, January 12, 2014 at the Glenaire Healthcare Center. Raised in Fair Bluff, NC; she was the daughter of the late Trudy and Bertha Waller Anderson and wife of the late Henry Chesnutt.

Nedra was a graduate of Meredith College and retired in 1990 from long service with the Forest Service. She was an active member of the Presbyterian Church and a loving mother to two daughters. Nedra was a delight to be around and brightened anyone’s day who spent time with her.

She is survived by her sister, Elsie Rhae Edmunds of Richmond, VA, daughters Katharine Chesnutt of Roanoke, VA and Nedra Chesnutt of Cary, NC, grandson Parker and his wife Lisa and two great-grandchildren Kaden and Tyler of Lexington, MA.

Family will receive friends on Friday morning, January 17, 2014 from 10-11 AM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (200 SE Maynard Road in Cary). Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home, with Graveside Services at 3:30 PM at Powell Cemetery in Fair Bluff, NC.
