Patricia "Pat" E. Owen

Patricia Ellen Owen, 87, of Wake Forest, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025.

Born on April 5, 1938, in Knightdale, NC, Pat lived a life filled with devotion to her family, her work, her faith, and the many hobbies that brought her joy. She was married to her beloved husband, Doyle Owen, for 57 years until his passing. Pat spent much of her career working in telecommunications at Verizon and was a dedicated member of Sorrell Grove Baptist Church in Morrisville, NC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Owen; her sister, Faye Parker; and her parents, Benny and Patty Ellen.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Susan Clinard.

Pat had a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. She found joy in crochet, cross-stitch, and reading, and she held a special love for dogs throughout her life.

A public funeral service will be held at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary, NC, on Friday, June 6, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by burial at Wake Memorial Park in Cary.

Pat’s warmth, creativity, and quiet strength will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
