Patricia Bryant Vick

February 27, 1952 – October 23, 2013

Patricia Bryant Vick, of Cary, completed her 61 year journey through life on October 23, 2013 with the love and support of her immediate family. She was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, sister, cousin and aunt.

Patricia was born is Wilson County, NC to Katherine Bryant and the late Wilbur Bryant. She was a graduate of Hardbarger Business College and was employed with North Carolina State University.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Sloan of Holly Springs; 2 grandchildren, Rachel and Casey Sloan of Holly Springs; mother, Katherine Bryant of Elm City; nephew, Andrew Bryant of Elm City; and adopted brother, John Crabtree of Cary.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Bryant; husband, William Douglas Vick; brother, Glenn Bryant; and niece, Mandy Bryant.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home Chapel, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2013 at the funeral home.
