Patsy Daniels Parsons, 86, died August 7, 2026. Born August 22, 1939, in Fayetteville, NC, Patsy was the daughter of the late Thomas Woodley Daniels and Emma Johnson Daniels. She moved with her husband’s work to Florida, first to Ft. Myers and later to Altamonte Springs, where they lived for many years - working, raising their family, attending church, and enjoying time spent with friends. After her husband’s death, she moved to live in Cary, North Carolina.
Following her education, Patsy worked with the telephone company and later served as an administrative assistant with an accounting firm. In each role, she carried herself with quiet care—thoughtful in her attention to detail, patient in the steady way she supported others, and gentle in her manner.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Lindbergh Parsons.
She is survived by her sons, Brent Parsons, and Jason Parsons, wife, Misti, and three grandchildren.
In daily life, Patsy was known for the simple, meaningful kindness of reaching out—making others feel included and offering a welcoming presence to all. She also gave her time as an active member of the PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization), and as a member of First Baptist Church of Sweetwater, reflecting a considerate spirit and a calm devotion to community.
A funeral service will be held 11am Friday, August 14, 2026 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home Chapel, 200 SE Maynard Rd., Cary, NC 27511 with Rev. Matt Mitchell officiating. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home. The family will receive friends 10am -11am prior to the service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held 3pm at Roseboro Cemetery in Roseboro, NC.
