Paul Jeremiah Donohue

Paul Jeremiah Donohue, 70, passed away November 11th 2012. He was born in Wilmington, Delaware on October 30th 1942 to Charlotte and Paul Gabriel Donohue. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Freida Parker Donohue; daughter Amy and husband Jeff Bertognolli of Burgaw; daughter Lisa Donohue Breckenridge and husband Thomas of Greenville; son Matthew and wife Kacie of Raleigh; sister Mary-Jane and husband Jack Dalton of Bridgeville, DE; his sister Rita and husband Rob Rodenbaugh of Lynchburg, VA; and grandchildren Amelia, Gabriel, Jacob and Caleb.

Paul was an All American diver at East Carolina University and graduated in 1966 with a degree in business administration. He was also a member of the Army National Guard and afterwards worked as a CPA at GlaxoSmithKline for over 40 years.

Paul’s happiest moments were spent at Harker’s Island where he loved to fish and play his banjo.

A service to celebrate his life was be held on Wednesday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary.
