Mr. Pearson is survived by his wife, Sylvia Wade; step-son, Mark Wade and wife, Patty of Conway, NC; step-daughters, Amanda Jenkins and husband, Jamie of Washington, NC and Elizabeth Hankins and husband, Marcus of Greenville, NC; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bessie and Rodney Pearson; 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2011 at Hope Community Church Chapel.
