Peggy Ann Giannone Toebes

Born on March 22nd, 1941, in Passaic, NJ and lived in Clifton, NJ until she married the love of her life, John A. Toebes, Jr. He died on October 19, 1981.

She leaves behind 3 children, John A. Toebes, III, of Cary, Tammy Campbell of Holly Springs, and James Toebes of Wake Forest. She also leaves 9 grandchildren, Anne Marie Richards, Charles Campbell, Margaret Toebes, JT Toebes, John Campbell, Timothy Campbell, Susie Toebes, Jennifer Campbell, and Gladys Toebes in addition to 3 great grandchildren, Sophia Campbell, Grayson Campbell, and Elizabeth Richards.

Peggy attended Clifton High School, Kee Business College, and Wake Technical College. She worked at SAS Institute in Cary for 17 years before she retired. She also ran a travel business, Peggy's Travel Events, after she retired.

On November 26, 1960, she married John A. Toebes, Jr., a career Navy man, and traveled the world with him until he died in 1981.

The family will receive visitors at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC, on Monday, February 1st, 2016, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. There will be a funeral mass at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Apex on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016, at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Peggy's name to American Legion Auxiliary, Cary Post 67, or Transitions LifeCare.
