He is survived by his loving wife Barbara of 62 years, his children, Risa Marcus-Clark Yauger (Jeffrey), his loving grandchildren, Avielle, Olivia, Jason and his many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Helen and Edward Marcus, his son, Michael Neil, and his sister, Lee Sallerson.
He lived a very happy and full life, always singing, bringing joy to others, helping those in need or just making friends along the way. He loved his family beyond measure. His happiest days were spent watching his grandchildren grow up, and cheering on his beloved Red Sox and Patriots.
Services will be held at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary, NC on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024 at 1pm followed by a graveside burial at Raleigh Memorial Park, Raleigh, NC. Immediately following the burial, Shiva will be observed at the home of Risa and Jeffrey Yauger. Shiva will then be observed at Philip's home in Apex on Thursday April 4th, 2024 (1- 4pm & 6- 8pm) and Friday April 5th, 2024 (12- 4pm).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
