Rachel Anna McSwain

A beloved daughter, sister, niece and friend.

She is survived by her father Kent McSwain and wife Maggie, mother Ginger Moffitt McSwain and fiancé Brian Kampfer, brother Samuel and fiancé Grace, stepsister Lauren Medlin, grandmother Brenda McSwain and Barbara Moffitt, aunt Pamela Crump and husband Bernie, Uncle Ron Moffitt and wife Debbie, uncles Richard Moffitt, Barry Moffitt and aunt Erica Moffitt. She also enjoyed close relationships with her cousins McKenzie, Brandon and Parker Crump.

Rachel loved music, poetry, literature and acting and was an avid collector of quotations from books, authors and notable people, considering them as condensed thoughts for contemplation. Rachel was graduated from Cary Christian School in the class of 2015, the school she had attended from kindergarten. Although she was accepted at every school she applied for, she delayed her post-secondary education due to unresolved health concerns. Rachel was interested in language as a tool for expression and was interested in learning sign language and was pursuing a career in the medical field.
