Ralph Douglas Campbell, known to most as Doug, was born on November 24, 1946 in Anderson, IN to his parents Ralph and Thelma Campbell. He was the 2nd of 6 children and grew up in Evansville, IN.
Doug served in the U.S. Air Force from 1965-1969 and then attended Indiana State University - Evansville where he earned a Bachelor of Science in 1973. After graduation, he worked in several different fields until he finally settled at National Chemsearch Corporation where he had much success as a salesman and as a manager for 30 years. He was able to attain his ultimate goal of making the "Inner Circle", one of his proudest accomplishments. He loved his work with a passion like no other and loved to teach others how to be just as successful as him. He was truly a born salesman.
Doug was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother and sister in law James (Jim) and Patty Coleman of Indiana, his sister Susie Meek of South Carolina, stepdaughter Kellie Hahn of North Carolina, and grandson Jarred Coleman of Michigan.
Doug is survived by his wife Claudia Campbell, daughter Audra Campbell (Shan) of Dallas, TX, son Ralph "Cody" Campbell (Christina) of Raleigh, NC, stepson Ronnie Coleman (Kelly) of Michigan, brothers Greg Campbell (Gayle) and Tim Campbell (Chris), is sister Cindy Foreman (Jim) as well as 4 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews who all loved and adored him.
Doug will be most remembered for his vibrant, big personality that lit up every room he walked into, his special way of never having met a stranger, his ability to see the silver lining in every bad situation, hard work and determination and his love for his wife and children.
Doug passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 and will truly be missed by every person who's ever known him.
