Randall H. Hicks, 77, of Cary died March 31, 2011. He was born in Bristol, VA on May 25, 1933. Mr. Hicks served in the US Army. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was also a Cary Softball Commissioner. Mr. Hicks was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Balthis Hicks; children, Gina R. Knight, Lori A. Hicks, Eric R. Hicks and wife Karolina, and Joni L. Hicks; grandchildren, Kelsey G. Knight, Lauren N. Hicks, Rilee M. Knott and Reese M. Hicks.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel McGhee Hicks and sister, F. Mary Smith.
A memorial service will be held 6:00p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary. The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
