Raymond was born on September 2, 1918, on a small farm in Kansas. He was employed with the Federal Government working as a Contracting Manager for 36 years. He loved gardening, hunting, woodworking, singing, and playing the harmonica. His favorite past time was enjoying an iced tea on the back porch with his beloved wife, Lillian, who preceded him in death. Raymond lovingly cared for his special needs daughter, Joyce, for her entire life. Joyce preceded him in death just last month.
Raymond is survived by his son, Gerald Dudeck and wife, Catharine; daughter, Barbara Nocera and husband, Will; and grandchildren, Tom Dudeck and wife, Kate, Joe Dudeck and wife, Kirsten Helmcke, and Chris, Heather, and Jennifer Nocera.
A graveside service will be held 2 PM Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Prospect Hill Cemetery, 200 W. Prospect Street, Front Royal, VA 22630.
