Bob was drafted in 1957 and served in Germany with the US Army. After discharge he started working for Pacific Bell and retired with 40 years of service.
Bob and his wife Valorie moved from Bonita, CA after 37 years to Cary, NC to be close to family. They regularly attended Peace Presbyterian Church in Cary. He enjoyed reading, biking, stamp collecting and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years Valorie Barnard, Two daughters Susan M. Czelusta of Divide, CO and Charlene L. Kryszak of Apex, NC; three grandchildren, Madison G. Czelusta, Connor J. Kryszak and Carter Kryszak. The “R” is Robert after his grandfather.
A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Peace Presbyterian Church, 1777 W. Chatham Street, Cary, NC.
