How does time get away? I just ran across this photo of what I believe was the last time the 4 siblings and mom were together. With Mom and Dennis is Wilmington, Robert in Cary, Melody in Texas, and me in Florida, getting everyone in the same place at the same time was something that did not happen enough. Still, it seems like yesterday!

Kathy, Ron and I were so sorry to hear about Robert's passing. We have such fond memories from our days together at First Baptist Church in Cary. Sunday School gatherings at your home and other social activities were always more fun when Robert was there. We pray that your wonderful family and sweet memories will comfort you in the following days.

Robert was a friend and great co-worker over our many years at CP&L and Progress Energy. His gentlemanly charm and friendly smile never failed to brighten my day. He will be remembered and missed.

Kathy, Robbie, Jodi, Josh, Zach, and Noah,
How he LOVED each and every one of you! I can remember so many stories. The enthusiasm in his telling, the light in his eyes, said it all. I know you miss him. I know he is having a blast exploring heaven, probably rewiring something. So if you see a flash in the sky, it might be him. I'm sure Dad is happy to see him. Vince and I miss him but there is peace in knowing we will see him again! He was a wonderful brother! I am grateful to be so blessed!

Kathy, our prayers for comfort and peace are with you. Robert was the ultimate big brother, patient, kind and loving. He could always make me laugh. I love how he loved his family. Y’all were everything to him. I love how he loved God and lived for Him. He will be missed. I am glad that we know where he is and that without a doubt we will see him again.

I had the great privilege of Robert's friendship back in high school and at Grace Baptist Church in Wilmington. Even in those years, I knew he would be successful at whatever he chose to do with his life, and would someday be a wonderful husband and father. He simply had too much character and integrity to do otherwise. It broke my heart to learn of his passing and I pray that God will bless and comfort his family.

Robert was always a friendly smiling face and person even when things were tense at work. A very trusted and kind hearted co-worker. We are praying for his family as they grieve his passing and celebrate his going to be with Jesus. He will be missed!!
