Bob is survived by his wife, Barbara Class Gue; two daughters, Jane E. Gue and Nancy G. Staples; three grandsons, Evin R. Improta, Michael R.G. Staples and Matthew G.G. Staples; eleven nieces and nephews; and four great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice M. Bennett Gue and Albert C. Gue (of Brownsville, PA), and his siblings, George Gue, Carole Gonzales, Harold V. Gue, Donald R. Gue, and Barron J.H. Gue.
Rev. Gue served 44 years in the United Methodist Church pastoring eleven churches in that time. He earned his BA from West Virginia Wesleyan College, Ordained from Drew University Seminary, MS of World Religions from Princeton Seminary and Dr. of Ministry from Drew University.
He and his wife, Bobbie, of 63 years, and their children enjoyed camping and traveling.
There will be a private graveside service for the family with a memorial service in the months to come.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert "Bob" Lyell Gue's memory can be made to West Virginia Wesleyan College.
