I am in total disbelief he was a great man  my heart goes out to the family.

Heaven gained an angel and we lost an amazing man. My Brother in law, best man at our wedding, Godfather to our daughter and the most fun person to be around. You have had me laughing since I met you in 1981.  I will cherish the memories we made, our camping trips, the holidays. I will never forget how you and Ann dropped everything when I was sick and drove 10 hours to see me. And again you making that trip for our 25th anniversary. I am so glad we came the last 2 Thanksgivings to spend it with you. You were so kind and caring, a wonderful husband, father, brother , friend and most of all Papa. You were such a wonderful husband to my Sister Ann, son, brother, father, papa, uncle and friend. We were all blessed when you came into our family.  Frank and I will always remember the great times we shared during the holidays, family celebrations and parties (remember the Hawaiian Luau).  We will especially miss our visits for Easter and just sitting around the table talking, laughing and watching you enjoy your family.  We will miss you brother-in-law, until we meet again. My sister, Tammy was welcomed into your family 8 years ago. Since then,  my family would go to your house for holiday dinners, parties, and just to spend time with everyone. It was a joy to be in your home and take part in these special moments. When Vinny and Tammy got married,  you were the best man and I was the maid of honor. I remember Tammy telling me that Vinny chose his best friend, his dad, to stand by him when he got married. I stood with you by the dj, getting ready for us to give speeches. I was nervous, and we jokingly argued over who would go first. You graciously volunteered.  Life moved forward quickly, and soon little Robby, who has your name, came into the world. My mom and I waited in the hospital with you and Ann, all of us impatient and excited. Tammy talked of you often, how much the boys loved you, and how thankful she was that they had you as their grandfather.  Your presence in their lives will be missed greatly. I will forever remember you sitting at the head of the table, smiling and laughing with the family you loved so much. May your loved ones take some comfort in knowing that this is not the end, God has called you home, and you will be reunited someday soon. 

When he greeted us as new neighbors, Rob was kind and warm and his devotion to family was immediately evident. He was also an incredibly hard worker - his energy and talent was nothing short of extraordinary.  

We will miss seeing Rob outside working on a new project or playing with the grandkids around the pool. We are grateful to have known him for a short time, and are heartened that his memory lives on through his beautiful family.

Through our many years of friendship, we are so lucky that we have many fond memories of Rob. One memory that really stands out is when Rob was courting Ann. The love story began when Ann worked with us at the hair salon n Farmingville and she cut Rob's hair. Rob wanted to date Ann in the worst way but Ann wouldn't budge. Each day Rob arranged for the local florist to deliver a single rose in a bud vase to Ann in the salon. Rob was very persistent and wouldn't give up. Finally, after a lot of soul searching, Ann decided that she would go out on one date with Rob. Everyone knows how the love story evolved. We will miss you dear friend. You were a very special man. I will always remember the story you use to tell me. “ you will know if a man truly loves you if he will go into a dumpster to get flowers for you”. That’s just the type of man you were.  You always wanted to show Aunite how much you loved her even if it meant diving into a dumpster to leave flowers on her car. Thank you for taking care of her and the boys.  They are the best dad because of the dad you were to them.  I love you and most of all will miss seeing you sitting outside in the backyard drinking your mic ultra while catching up and making jokes when you come visit. I know you will protect your family from above. Until we meet again.

Words cannot convey the sadness we feel that Rob has left this earth to enter glory.  Rob, the father-in-law of my daughter Tammy and father of my wonderful son-in-law Vinny,  was the rock of the family I got to know over many years since Tammy met Vinny.  Ann and  Rob always made me feel so welcome in their home.  I so admired and respected Rob as he loved his family so deeply, was so present at the family table. The dinner table was something special and Rob enjoyed his place at the head chatting and enjoying his family and guests.  He knew a lot about life and the times. He was a thinker, he loved a good laugh and would make people smile and feel comfortable. 
He was the best grandfather to my three little grandsons. When Rob was in the room there was no chance of getting the attention of the boys. I loved watching him play rough and tumble, chat with them and just give them joy. 
His love and care  for Ann and family was an example of what a good man is made of.  He was a good man, God has surely said , “Well done thy food and faithful servant, enter into the joy of thy Lord.” 

We were friends/neighbors  for 18 years.  During that time we shared so many great events;  holiday celebrations, birthday parties, graduations and weddings.  We always admired you for the  pride you took in your house, how you made us laugh, and especially the love your had for your family.  When Julie and I talk about you and Ann it always makes us smile, until this week, but the tears we shed this week while be replaced with smiles again at  some point.  My friend, you might be gone, but you will never be forgotten

There are just no words to express how much we miss you, Dad. Our hearts are just aching. You were such a light in our lives. And I know  we are all better people because of the love you shared with us. The kids adored you. I know you are looking down on us smiling. We will honor your memory by playing all the silly games you used to play with them, by dropping everything to spend time with them and be completely in the moment. Thank you for everything. Uncle Skip,

I feel incredibly blessed that I got to be your niece. You were so much more than an Uncle. You were one of my best friends and looked after me like I was your own daughter. I am forever thankful for your advice, support, and love. Besides Papa you have been the most influential person in my life. 

You would drop everything to be with me if I needed you and you did just that on several occasions. You took care of me when I was ill- insisting that I stay with you and Aunt Ann, you held my hand and wiped my tears when I woke up following a medical procedure, you sat with me in the hospital on your own birthday because I was scared to be alone. Your love was boundless. 

When I was a little girl, you took me on dates- bowling, ice cream, the movies and more. You used to play your guitar and sing Sweet Child O' Mine to me even though I tried to run away. You used to play silly games with me like '52 card pick up'- a joke that I fell for every time. 

As a young child you gave me another gift when you brought Aunt Ann into my life. Together you provided me with a place to speak my mind, live my truth, be myself and be surrounded by family. The two of you virtually became my parents after I lost my Mom. 

I feel so broken right now, along with our family. Please know that we will continue to walk this path together. We will remember you, honor you, and cherish the time we had with you. Thank you for loving me, for loving us all.

I love my Nephew Rob (Skip).  I was blessed to be part of his life and all of my Niece's and Nephews.  He had a huge heart , just like his Dad!  He had all the love for his family.  He will be missed by everyone who every knew him.  Prayers to all of his family.
