Bob's friends from Grumman  Calverton NY will miss him very much. Bob was my mentor at Grumman and would refer to me as Young Buck as I was in my early 20's. I will never forget the guidance, friendship, laughter and support he gave me. I often relate to Bob when I'm dealing with others, now 50 leading other (Young Bucks) in management at Boeing. 
Bob was a great guy, mentor, friend, and caring person. I recall all the times when Bob and I made trips into Bethpage from Calverton (The Big City as Bob would call Bethpage). After Bob retired we would meet for  lunch if he had time during his part time cigarette sales rep job. Bob and I would always call each other at least once a year, and it was like picking up as if we were working together yesterday. May God bless you Jean and your family in this time of sorrow. Our prayers are with you.
