Ronald “Ronnie” Keith Cross

Ronnie was born on December 25th, 1951, in Schenectady, NY, to the late Robert and Ida Mae Tallman Cross. As a child, he and his family moved to Spring Lake, NC where he grew up and attended school until moving to Cary in 1983.

Before his retirement he worked as a sales representative for Dixie Bearings and Motion Industries for more than 36 years.

Ronnie was an active member of The World Clown Association, South East Clown Association and Jolly Raleigh Klown Alley for the last 20 plus years and was a past president of all three associations.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 40 years, Vicky Lewis Cross, one brother, Jerry A. Cross of Raleigh and his wife Bobbi, sister-in-law, Winnie L. Phelps and husband Dean of Lawton, OK, three nieces, Amber M. Talada of Lawton, OK, Kaycee C. Rice of Rocky Mount, NC, and Krystee A. Cross of Raleigh.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 5th, at 2:00 pm, at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Athens Drive Baptist church of Raleigh or the World Clown Association memorial fund.
