Ronald Lee Poole was born on November 6th, 1941, in Raleigh, NC, to the late Arthur and Mae Ferrell Poole. He was with the Department of Agriculture at the Fairgrounds for 35 years.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by two sisters, Betsy Heigl and Louise Oakley.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 55 years, Virginia Stone Poole; son Ronald Poole Jr.; daughter, Rhonda Earley and husband Roger; grandson Daniel Mcleod and wife Kelli; and one brother, Donald Poole.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 11th, 2016, at 12:00 pm, at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will follow at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens in Raleigh.
