She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 13, 1938 to William and Marie (Mueller) Caudell. She was married to Glenn Pittenger for 56 years. Ruth was a homemaker and volunteered at church. She was a loving wife and mother and will greatly be missed.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, William and Marie (Mueller) Caudell; her brother Lester Caudell; and her sister Rosemary (Caudell) Kilwy.
She is survived by her son Bryan and his wife, Claudia and their daughters, Corinna and Bethany of Roanoke, VA; her son Keith and his wife, Denise and their daughter Emma of Raleigh, NC; and her brother Bob Caudell and her sister Wilma Jean Rascher.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, December 6th at 10:00 am at the Shepherd’s Church, 6051 Tryon Rd, Cary, NC 27518.
