Sarah was born on March 28th, 1945, in Andrews, NC, to the late Fred and Gertrude Cagle Williams.
In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her brothers Fred and Joe Williams, and her sister-in-law Hildred Stratton Williams.
Sarah is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Tidwell; her oldest daughter Michele (Jason) Nagy, Clayton, NC, her son Michael (Beth), Holly Springs, NC, her youngest daughter Cheryl (Brian) Dillman, Carthage, NC, and eight grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016, at 1:00 pm, at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary with Rick Billingsley and Guy Roberson officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, also at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society under Dr. Mark Yoffe.
