I am so deeply sorry for your sudden loss.  I was on vacation when I received news of Shelia's passing.  I was so sad and shocked.  I had just spoken with her a couple of weeks ago at our building.  I had not seen her in awhile and was amazed at how great she looked.  She shared with me about her surgery and I told her I was going to go thru the same thing.  She said it was really hard, but she felt better.  I always loved talking to her, especially about her dogs, when she worked in our building.  She was always so sweet and funny.  She will be truly missed by all those that had the privelege to know her.  May God lift each of you up in his arms and carry you thru the weeks and months ahead. I worked with Sheila for 6 years at BB&T and for several years we shared many conversations over our cube wall. She was a great person with a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to fish. My prayers go out to the family and may God give you peace and strength as you go through this time of sorrow.

She was smart, dedicated and could make you laugh. My son thought so much of her.  On occasion I would bring him with me to the office and Sheila got to know him and found out he collected Comic Books.  One day she comes in and brought Matt a couple of them.  He was thrilled.  I lost my son almost 6 years ago and will cherish the books forever.  Sheila will be missed so much!  God Bless you all...

I have been blessed with knowing the Peedin family since my family first moved to Raleigh in 1986. I've felt a part of their family ever since, through good times and bad.  I love y'all and I'm praying for y'all to find peace.

What a privilege it was to know Sheila and to call her my friend.  Her honesty and humor made her special.  I will miss her when I go to the coast and she's not sitting in the yard with her fishing pole.

Anyone who was blessed to have known Sheila is heart broken.  But none more than the family and puppy she loved dearly.  She loved you all very much. Sheila was smart, kind, loving and funny. My heart is heavy with sorrow knowing Sheila is gone. I have such fond memories of her. I haven't seen her in a while but I guess I've known her my whole life. Francis and her girls are in my prayers.

I got to know Sheila when our family moved to NC in 1985.  At first I was one of her Church leaders, but our relationship turned into a long lasting friendship. As we moved away, she came to visit us in SC, NY and UT.  I love her dearly.  She was very bright, talented and funny and I admired her love for her family.  I know she is at peace now and hope she knows how many love and miss her.

The whole Peedin family are in my family's prayers.  Love you all.

Sheila was someone I had the privilege to call my friend for 41 years.  We met on the basketball court at Effie Green Elementary in 4th grade and we have been friends every since.  I am going to miss her something terrible.  She had the best sense of humor.  My prayers are with the Peedin family whom  she loved dearly.
