My memories of Sue seem to revolve around food: years ago, we'd drop off Jenny and Emily at ballet school and go have coffee or ice cream. After my own mother died, I'd "borrow" Sue around Mother's Day so we could go out for lunch (which always included some kind of chocolate dessert). I still have Sue's recipes for her famous Christmas party goodies and am glad that Terry and Jenny are carrying on the tradition! We'll miss her.

My best and happiest memories of Sue were the annual Christmas gatherings that Terri and Jeff hold. Not only did Sue cook up a mess of good stuff, she would tell wonderful tales as the two of us chatted over a glass of cheer. She loved her family and it showed in her clear delight in them. I'm grateful to remember those times and send my love to the Cary Crows.
