

She was born April 21, 1960 in Tonawanda, NY a daughter of Russell and Virginia Gazzilli Parasiliti. She attended NYU and University of Buffalo graduated from UB Summa Cum Laude. She got her Master’s degree in Psychology and Continuing Education.
She worked as Director at Crisis Center in Buffalo, NY, Coordinator of Foreign Student Affairs at UB, and Director of Student Housing and the Continuing Education Office at NC State.
Surviving are her husband, Chris Davis of Wake Forest; her parents of Cary; two sons Daniel and Matthew Sheehan both of Cary; sister, Karen (and husband, Chris) Lennon of Leland; brother, Russell (and wife, Michelle) Parasiliti Jr. of Apex; and three nieces.
Susan struggled with MS for 17 years, and was paralyzed for the last 13 years. Her life was devoted to her two sons, often volunteering in the boys’ class rooms from a wheel chair.
A memorial mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary where she was a member.
