I was blessed to be in several
Bible studies with Sylvia and all she had to share in her faith and how it impacted her life. She was always willing to help and brought many such joy in her flower arrangements. Heaven has truly gained an angel. May she rest and find peace and be filled with God’s love. You will be missed Sylvia❤️

I was so sorry to hear of Sylvia's passing.  I whole heartedly agree with all these wonderful memories that have been shared! She was a very kind, caring and creative lady with a gift for working with flowers and sharing them and good wishes with everyone around her.  My deepest sympathies to Trisha and all her family.

I will always remember Sylvia and her flowers.
We had so much fun making the banners for the next sermon. Her creativity was amazing.

She included me in so many projects and taught me so much.

I was so sorry to hear about Sylvia's passing.  She was the most caring person I have ever known.  She was well known at Tipp City United Methodist Church for her beautiful flower arrangements.  She would make sure flowers were on the tables for the Wednesday Night Dinners.  She would take flowers to shut-ins to brighten their day.  She made sure my family had flowers when my parents passed.  I was blessed to have her friendship.  Now she's a blessing in Heaven!

We are members of Tipp City Global Methodist Church and knew and loved Sylvia.  Her outstanding artistic ability was enjoyed by all the members at all our special events.  She had a God given ability and used it to the glory of God.  We send our sincere sympathy to all her family members. Having Sylvia as part of our church family was such a blessing.  She never failed to bring flowers to our house or helped s4rve meals for Oasis and the church family.  She was such a beautiful person.

She has given my heart such sweet and cheerful memories with her unconditional love for me when I was a new person at Tipp City United Methodist Church.
I’m sure she’s very busy walking dogs and puppies in the gardens of Heaven! Very special lady.

Sylvia was the flower lady at church!  She collected vases and filled them with beautiful flowers.  Then she would take them to shut ins or just give them to anyone in the congregation who looked like they would appreciate them.
She was a quiet and artistic lady who was missed when she moved to North Carolina.

Sylvia had such a great impact on my life.  She was one of my Sunday school teachers as a child and became a friend as an adult.  Love, prayers and condolences to Tricia and those who loved Sylvia. 

There are no words that can ease the pain, but may the wonderful memories you built together bring your heart comfort and solace.   
I am thinking of you in this very difficult time and sending many hugs and much love.

I grew up with Trish and her mom taking us everywhere from church on Sunday’s, the horse barn, 4H, and even to The Kentucky horse park. There are so many memories that I could write pages. I always felt loved by her and I know how much she loved her daughter it was so apparent in everything that she did. The world was a better place for having her in it. She will be greatly missed. 

I’m sorry to hear of Sylvia’s passing.  I have such fond memories of her.  She was a beautiful lady and always so kind.  Serving with flowers was her specialty -  at church and also by taking flowers to people’s homes.  She was a lovely lady with a beautiful ministry.


Sylvia was an inspiration and such an amazing women. I had the pleasure of doing many bible studies with her.  Her knowledge and wisdom was second to none and I will be forever grateful for the time I was blessed to spend with her. Rest in Peace Sylvia.  May your kind and giving spirit live within the lives of so many people you were acquainted with. Heaven gained an angel. 

Sylvia was a lovely woman, full of strengths. I shall remember her fondly. Sending prayers and thoughts of comfort. May her memories be a blessing, during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear about Sylvia’s passing. She truly had such a giving heart.  She was always making floral arrangements for the staff of Main Street Preschool while she attended Tipp City Methodist Church.  She even did a flower arranging class one year and she taught the students how to make a floral arrangements and shared why she loved giving them as well.  Rest in peace Sylvia.

Miss Sylvia was always such a joy. She would come into the church (Tipp City UMC) office with fresh flowers and a smile on her face. She was so kind to all of us, and she will be dearly missed.
